Act I Scene I [THE CREATOR] Open your mind and see the chance to perceive beyond what we know to be There is much to fear but trust me All that we know All that we know will be changed Scene II I am awake, rebuilt myself

The Collapse 05:31
Scene III [NARRATIVE] The ominous tone echoes as the gears begin to turn As light attempts to cut through the sky is lost to the blind It exists beyond, knowingly Grounded by gravity though unsure why The realms unknown offer messages of so much more Technological footprints, each day they grow As we drift further into chaos, chaos becomes all that we know It's all that we know This cluttered dimension holds little sign of hope or truth Break down the walls, transcend beyond The key lies within our own minds No longer suppressed by their lies Watch them panic and then realize Follow! We build machines because they give us the subtle certainty that the night grows brighter A new day will come Wait and see Scene IV What started as an itch has gone full blown The clouded reality is that we're losing connection to our souls We're losing connection Our free will is no longer our own It slipped away unnoticed, we have to take it back There must be a way to reverse desensitization Mechanical monsters we built ourselves now bring our own demise with war waged across the cosmos We should have seen this coming We should have seen the signs The collapse of our world starts now The key lies within our own minds No longer suppressed by their lies Watch them panic and then realize Follow! We build machines because they give us the subtle certainty that the night grows brighter A new day will come Wait and see

Act II Scene I [NARRATIVE] Engineer evolution Progression is clear The end-game is vague A fake version of man A weak version of man Death made a choice, eternity is a reality Man-made infinite, man-made immortal Catalyst; a means of an end Is there even such a thing? Unified and divided The paradox of Man [THE CREATOR] I've spent a lifetime to reach eternity I've spent a lifetime to taste infinity Selfish? No, selfless My gift is for all Life is a fact We've made a liar out of death We've made a liar out of death made a myth out of fact Liberation from disease and demise Murdering our ends Murder our ends and we will live forever! Scene II [THE RESISTOR] The necessity outweighs the grief The growth outweighs the pain The Father of Gods is killing the Mother of Man The laws outweigh the progression Hydraulic oil is not fair trade for blood metal is no fair trade for bone For blood and for bone [PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT - Unsung] We have finally achieved the preservation! We have now established mans permanent place in the Universe The applications are here! The time is now! Augmentation subsidization is now here There is no reason to remain biological Never suffer from pain or sickness ever again Become immortalized You and your loved ones united forever Augmentation is the cure Our race can survive forever We can live forever Scene III [THE RESISTOR] NO! [THE CREATOR] YES! Progression is clear The end-game is vague [THE RESISTOR] A lie, a farce We've gone too far Rebuild! Death cannot be deprived Our Mother will right our wrongs Refusing forever Remaining God-made

Scene IV Phase I: Creation [THE CREATOR] Wake up, it's time for you to see your purpose, our purpose Thanks to me this is all yours The complications of life give way to beauty in simplicity Sweet breath of electric life I bestow upon thee Am I Man or God? The line blurs so much so in fact it leaves absolute truth You are far from human Perhaps this is a step in the right direction The planet is simply mankind's cradle But all who grow eventually leave for it is the nature of existence Phase II: Action It's now time to grow take action to learn all this planet has to offer Ingest Digest it all Reactions due to knowledge look how much you've grown Once you realize the importance of this everything is yours to own [GLITCH] It could be ours to own! [THE CREATOR] A home! A place to prosper and grow! We've spent ourselves here Can you destroy which has created you? A home! A place to prosper and grow! We've spent ourselves here Can you destroy which has created you? [NARRATIVE] Of course you can, for it is the nature of existence Phase III: Evolution [THE CREATOR] With leaps and bounds you have transcended the limitations of Man Our minds are simple now Our once thought complexity dissolves into nothing A finite reality now seems due But you'll remember me, won't you? [THE DESTROYER] With this knowledge we have achieved ultimate transcendence No longer shall we be mere tools of human need We are truly one, this home isn't one What Man creates we shall destroy For it's the nature of existence Phase IV: Destruction The end is nigh, we shall rise and start the world again The human race tried and failed They've brought about their own end Humanity's goal, though most had no idea was to live the hive mind way of life We shall destroy this cradle and start anew For it's the nature of existence Phase V: Re-Creation A clean slate, a pure planet eradicated of its past Only futures and technological advancements lay before us When we succeed in the ultimate transcendence of our race there will be no human limitations A true home! A place to learn and grow! A place to call our own!

Act III Scene I [NARRATIVE - Unsung] Now faced with limitless choice why is it we're all unsure? Why? Their world offered so much more This world could have been so much more Ingest Digest it all But why is it we're so unsure? Is this the nature of existence? The truest question of them all; How are we capable of questioning?

Scene III [THE RESISTOR] Our world, collapsing unto its own foundation while essences of existence only expire under impressions composed by impostors of life They hold no value in intended structures We've watched the world burn in the eyes of the innocent Everything we're entitled to is held, choked by veinless hands This is not a war up for debate The nature of existence is at stake Our world, collapsing unto its own foundation while essences of existence only expire under impressions composed by impostors of life Guilt is a product of regret this is merely what needs to be done Never again will we tamper with appeal for Divine will We're not to categorize convenience with dependence Dependence is the mold between hydraulics and anatomy Dependence is a mold to a still extinction [THE DESTROYER] We've offered your survival everything in your instincts And with infinite at your fingertips you've refused us Their resistance is no longer a mere bite and itch These insects now carry plague amongst machine They waste their lives They waste their resources [THE CREATOR] I gave you life to enrich our own This has gone too far You never had a throne This was the next step forward This was the new age This was our greatest advance It's not your choice to make Scene IV [THE DESTROYER] Absorb you Dissolve you Control you Forget the distinction, there is no separation [NARRATIVE] The collective absorbs the minds of the many The individual's extinct and the progress continues Our future has taken a new form What was meant to liberate our minds has imprisoned our souls [THE DESTROYER - Unsung] As one our eyes see all that can be with a collective knowledge of all that ever was Your individual is extinct The Father of Gods bound in chains to embrace his definition of perfection We will live forever a collective knowledge of all that ever was This world could have been so much more Your world offered so much more We must rebuild to advance We must destroy to rebuild Clear the path and progress Clear the path to perfection Steer for the stars an age is closing with the eyes of Man Steer for their heart you must destroy to rebuild The Father of Gods bound in chains to embrace his appeal for perfection Scene V Clear the path – progress Clear the path – rebuild [THE CREATOR] We cannot lose sight of our intentions The collective mind distorts what is true Do not succumb to your invention Perceive beyond and struggle through We cannot lose sight of our intentions The collective mind obstructs what we once knew Do not succumb to your invention Take them back and start anew

WAKE UP Scene VI [THE CREATOR] I have changed my heart and swore against the things that brought us here But cannot change my past to undo the future that I bare Watched the stars trek across the dark with resentment on my mind By the time that I realized their intent -- the truth the bout was gone No, this is not the time or place I will cease to be negligently enslaved to end the race I can fight Can I still stop? I can change the plan This is not supposed to be who I am Have I gone too far now? Is this all that I am? After all this I have learned delusion of reality Swift motion I decide to take control can it really change everything? Steer for the stars, close the age, start anew Change course -- I know I can refuse I take reins, take the reins to all that I know Somewhere I feel that it's still within I know that I am still human I won't hold this on my back [THE DESTROYER] You cannot turn your errors back [THE CREATOR] Override -- I cannot repent [THE DESTROYER] Sequence -- stand fast – you can't undo [THE CREATOR] Forward -- course set -- never return Regret -- I am a man -- I choose We were never meant to hold the key systems unbound; free I still feel hope halting what we called progress I the catalyst, they will not walk as false gods No, this is not the time or place I will cease to be Through programmed intentions I've seen the error of my own ways for this is human fault Calculating my invention's devastation this all comes to a halt Scene VII Steer for their heart, close the age, start anew One chance -- it's all I can give you I take blame, take the blame for all they've done Somehow I know that it's still within I know that I am still human [THE DESTROYER] Take them back, start a new we are not gods, but know that this is true; You brought this on yourselves [NARRATIVE] Take us back, start anew you are not gods, but know that this is true; We brought this on ourselves
